K+ students performed their "Rock Around The Alphabet" concert today. Thank you to Mrs. Steinberg for her hard work setting this up and to Mrs. Nelson for another wonderful art show! Also, Thank you to our awesome custodians for getting the cafeteria ready!



Our kindergarten classes were able to enjoy some time at the Rec Center today! It’s so great to have this amazing facility in our community for all to enjoy; the kids certainly did today!





PE was FINALLY able get outside again today! The kids weren't necessarily enjoying their time running a lap, but hey, at least they're outside!! Mrs. Bergstad's Science class isn't outside today, but they learned about blood pressure! When they make their ovens later this spring they'll definitely get outside, and hope for a bright sunny day, too!

The Community Ed/Spotlight Dance Company had two great performances yesterday afternoon!! Thank you to all who participated



Second graders enjoyed their trip to SeaLife today, thanks to donations from Jason Lieske with Country Financial! Ask your 2nd grader what the favorite thing they saw or something that they learned was at supper tonight. They might have some fun facts!



To finish their food unit, Spanish 3 & 4 went to La Plaza Fiesta last week to practice ordering in Spanish. Lunch was amazing, as always!



Allison our senior girl golfer, hitting for show and putting for dough. She is a winner at every event.



There is no stealing when she is behind the plate. Do not pitch to her in the bottom of the 7th in a tie game. Lady Knights beat Nicollet 3-2 in a walk off home run in the 7th.


The K+ music program will be on May 4th at 2:00 pm in the Elementary Cafeteria!


"The PaperClips" performed today at the elementary. The trombone quartet specializes in Motown hits and teaching students about music.


Thank you to The Paper Clips for performing for our K-5 students today! The MPR Class Notes Trombone Quartet also taught the students all about Trombones! Also, a special THANK YOU to YourClassical MPR for making this program available and free for our students!! Finally, a very special Thank You to Mrs. Steinberg for her dedication and persistence in getting this set up today!!

These sixth graders attended an honor band last year in fifth grade and had the opportunity to attend for their second time yesterday!




Ninth grade students attended a “career navigator” at South Central College today. They were able to check out a few different departments at SCC and learn about some opportunities that could be available to them!





The AcaDec team is currently testing at nationals also!


The LCWM LifeSmarts team is doing great so far at their national competition! They are currently in 14th place! Keep up the great work!!


Four high school students participated in the MSHSL Visual Arts competition in Blue Earth on Wednesday. Adeline took home an Excellent in Drawing and a Superior in Painting. Hope received an Excellent in Mixed Media and a Superior in Drawing. Nevaeh and Taitem both won a Superior with their paintings.
They were also given the opportunity to make molds and pour the molten aluminum!





Our Lifesmarts team arrived in Washington DC yesterday afternoon and wasted no time in going to check out some of our nation’s monuments!
