📢 Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, May 25th
Fifth graders visited the high school this afternoon for a fun and informative look at what awaits them next year! Students enjoyed lunch, toured the building, and learned more about what a typical day in middle school will look like. Members of Hope Squad eagerly guided them through the school, sharing exciting opportunities, activities, and experiences they can look forward to in the year ahead.
The 2nd grade students were able to experience being "surgeons" for the day! They practiced fine motor skills with the game Operation, studied slides on the microscope, and examined x-rays!
Congrats to this week's Noble Knights! The school year is coming to an end, but these students continue to make the best choices!
The annual 4th-6th grade Track and Field event is scheduled for Friday, May 22nd. Come and cheer on the students as they participate in several running and field events.
2025-26 LCWM Elementary yearbooks are currently on sale. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, the cost is $32.00. Checks can be made to LCWM.
LCWM Elementary has been recognized as a 2025-26 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School for the second time. We are among a select group of elementary schools across the U.S. to receive this honor for our commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in career-connected learning through PLTW Launch, an elementary STEM curriculum.

As our school year is coming to an end, we want to extend a thank you to our incredible PTO! The volunteers of the LCWM Elementary PTO provide so much for our staff, students, and school. Our appreciation for the parent volunteers is never ending! Fundraising, events, field trips, and anything in between... THANK YOU!

Carynn, who has been helping out at the preschool this semester for her work study, got an amazing surprise send off from our elementary this morning! She, and the rest of the team, head up to the State Bowling Competition tomorrow morning! More photos from the send off at the high school to come later!

The 5th Grade Band & Choir Concert will be held on Thursday, May 14th
Students are invited to bring mom, grandma, aunt, or someone special for breakfast on the front lawn. Donuts, fruit, and juice will be served. In the event or inclement weather, the event will moved inside to the cafeteria.
Thank you to our amazing school nurses, Tina and Libby! They make a difference every day with their care, guidance, and dedication to health and wellness.
Last week, our 2nd grade students had the opportunity to explore Flandrau State Park! They explored nature while on a hike and expanded their imaginations at the natural playground.
We also extend our appreciation and thanks to our amazing substitute teachers! They are all more than willing to fill in for any classroom and continue to guide our students. Thank you for all you do!
Our appreciation for our teachers extends beyond this week. Each teacher inspires, encourages, and drives students each and every day. We cannot thank them enough for what they provide to our school, staff, and students! Thank you LCWM Elementary teachers!!
