2025 Youth Tackle Football

Tackle Football (entering grades 4, 5 and 6 in Fall 2025)

LCWM Football is part of the South Central Youth Football League.
Practices will be based on coaches availability.

Goals for Football Season

  • To develop fundamental football skills

  • To play and work as a team, not an individual

  • To have fun at practices and games.

  • To do our best at all times

  • To maintain good sportsmanship at all times.

2025 Schedule

On Saturdays, 6th Grade plays at 10:00 am, 5th Grade plays at 11:15 am, and 4th grade plays at 12:30 pm. These times are approximate, the next game will start at the conclusion of the game before it.

On weeknights, 6th Grade plays at 7:30 pm, 5th Grade plays at 6:15 pm, and 4th grade plays at 5:00 pm. These times are also approximate, the next game will start at the conclusion of the game before it.

South Central Youth Football League Rules 2025

Registration Fee: $110
Register online is require to come to Equipment Night.
The parent meeting and equipment night are required even with online registration.

Volunteer Deposit: $50 (separate check required)
Every parent is required to volunteer at the home games. Sign-ups will be available at Equipment Night-first come, first serve. Deposit will be returned at the end of the season for those parents that fulfill their volunteer requirements.

You have a choice to purchase or rent your jersey. If you rent your jersey you will receive your deposit back upon the return of your jersey at the end of the season.
Jersey Purchase: $65 (separate check required)
Jersey Rental Deposit: $65 (separate check required)

Registration checks, volunteer deposit checks and jersey purchase/rental checks must be separate. They will be collected with forms at equipment night. If you register online, you will need two checks at equipment night. 

 Thursday, July 31st:

PARENT MEETING FOLLOWED BY EQUIPMENT PICK-UP:
Time: 6:00 pm (at least one parent is required to attend)
Location: Secondary Building Cafetorium
Equipment fitting & handout: 7:00 pm (following parent meeting) No equipment will be handed out prior to the meeting. If you absolutely cannot make it to the meeting, you will need to call to make arrangements with the Community Ed. Office. Pre-meeting equipment pick-up will not be allowed-no exceptions.

Equipment needed:
-Helmet (provided)
-Pants (provided)
-Shoulder pads (provided)
-Game jersey (need to purchase/rent annually)
-Practice jersey (provided)
-Mouth guard – “Shockdoctor” – not provided
-Shoes/Cleats (no steel) – not provided
Optional items: chin straps, arm pads, gloves

Games:

  • Arrive at the game field ½ hour before game time

  • Be sure to have all your gear and a water bottle

  • Coaches will contact you if a game is cancelled

  • Call or text coach if you cannot attend games
